Vida Guerra was born on 19th March,1974 in Havana, Cuba.Her Father Motaki Guerra is indigenous Cuban but her mother is an Indian origin(Bengali) Cuban.Her family moved to the United States soon after, ending up in the town of Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Her height 5' 3'' ,weight 52 kg and Vital 34 X 25 X 37.

Vida Guerra's camera phone was allegedly hacked. Dozens of photos, including nude pictures, were widely disseminated on the Internet in 2005 .However, the head of her record label maintained that the nude photos were of Guerra and that she had deliberately leaked them as a publicity stunt. Guerra was dropped by the label over this incident.

Vida Guerra's debut album, You Got Me, was leaked to the Internet on Nov. 2,2006.Her another album is Livin' the Low Life but she is not satisfied with her singing .
