Laila Rouass Khan who is popularly known as Laila Rouass was born on 22th June 1971 in Stepney, London, England, UK.Her father is a Moroccan and mother is an Indian decents in United Kingdom.She studied at the short lived London branch of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.She has two siblings both are brothers.Laila Rouass's height 5' 6'' , weight 57 kg and vital 35 X 25 X 36.

Laila Rouass has started her carrier as a VJ on Channel V in India in the 1990s.Whilst living in Bombay, she worked for MTV, BBC, and TNT.she has appeared in a music video for Colour Blind directed by the then creative head of V channel, Shamin Desai.
Laila Rouass's step into movies came when she was spotted by Italian director Aditya Bhattacharya and whisked off to Messina to shoot Senso unico (1999).Rouass became famous for playing the role of Bollywood actress Amber Gates in the Cult ITV1 series Footballers' Wives between 2004 and 2006 and albeit briefly, on the ITV2 spin-off series Footballers' Wives: Extra Time. She has also played recurring roles on the British soap Family Affairs, Hollyoaks, appeared in episodes of I Dream, Casualty and Meet the Magoons and starred alongsideMeera Syal in the television adaptation of her novel, Life Isn't All Ha Ha Hee Hee.
Laila Rouass has appeared as egyptologist Sarah Page in the third series of the ITV science-fiction series Primeval in 2009. She quit the show when location of filming was changed to Dublin, for series 4 and 5, saying it would be hard to carry on as a single parent.In 2010 she will be one of five celebrities taking over from Richard and Judy's TV Book Club for Channel Four.Rouass signed up to play a regular character on BBC One drama Spooks in March 2010. She plays Maya in the series' 9th series broadcasting from September 2010. She also guest starred in The Sarah Jane Adventures in October 2010.In spring of 2010 Rouass announced that she will be making a film about Leila Khaled, who led the hijacking of a flight from Rome to Athens in 1969. Rouass stated she had funding for the film.In November 2010 it was announced that Laila Rouass is joining the cast of Holby City and will appear on screen from February 2011.
It is seen in official press launch for the seventh series of Strictly Come Dancing, it was announced that Rouass would be participating in the BBC One reality show, paired with professional dancer Anton Du Beke, and alongside Footballers' Wives co-star Zöe Lucker.But they were not seen last few shows because unwanted controversy.
Laila Rouass' first film was City of Dreams produced by Feroze Nadiawala, where she starred opposite Lisa Ray and Saeed Jaffery.During the years, Rouass was based in India, she acted in a few Indian films, Aditya Bhattacharya's Indo-Italian Senso unico (1999) and Dev Benegal'sSplit Wide Open (1999) early in her career. In 2000, Rouass starred in Jag Mhundra’s controversial film, Bawandar (English title; The Sand Storm), about revenge rapes in Rhajasthan.In 2006 she was cast in Aditya Raj Kapoor's film Don't Stop Dreaming (2006).Her English-language film debut came with a small role in The Four Feathers opposite Heath Ledger.She has also starred in The Hunt Feast (2004).Rouass filmed appearances in the independent British films and Shoot on Sight (2007) opposite Brian Cox, Om Puri and Sadie Frost,Freebird (2008) and the New Zealand funded picture Apron Strings (2008).

Laila Rouass had married Abdeslam Rouass in Tower Hamlets, London in 1990 but they divorced in 2003.In 2005 Rouass went through a religious ceremony with businessman and millionaire owner of 'The Accessory People' retail chain and Asian Woman Magazine (AIM Ltd), Nasa Khan; however, the two have never legally married.In October 2006, she went to see a doctor regarding back pains, only to find she was six months pregnant, and gave birth to a daughter, Inez, in February 2007.She and Khan split, then briefly reconciled. However it has since been reported that she is single.However, it has now been reported that she has a long-term boyfriend James Petrie, who is head of food development for Heston Blumenthal.
